Once a month, on the 2nd Wednesday at 6pm, there is a Shared Meal at the chapel – everything is free, but we always appreciate small donations. Normally, somewhere between 25 and 35 people turn up to enjoy two courses and good natter. People come from the village and the surrounding area and towns, some who come to chapel and quite a few who don’t, and all of us mingle and have a good time.
We have a meat and vegetarian main and a great number of delicious puddings to choose from and people always have a great time catching up with each other’s news. Our menu changes each month, so stay tuned and check the most recent newsletter to see what might be coming but some examples have been goulash soup, fish and chips, Danish open sandwiches, and a summer barbecue.
It’d be great to see you too. We say “thanks” before we eat, but there’s no preaching, just company and food.
