Thought of the Day

Support us on EasyFundraising

Today, work has begun on the chapel with Steve and Paul on the scaffolding. Our soffits and fascia boards need some TLC before the winter.

Later today, we gather a group of creative people together to work on their art and craft projects in the vestry – a good chance for people to get together and enjoy a chat, a break and a biscuit together.

Later today, there will be an opportunity to pray together and a small group normally take the opportunity to light a candle, listen to a few songs and join in with Celtic style prayers in a call and response format.

At the same time, the sun is out, work is going on in the graveyard, dog walkers come through and I am about to begin the work on the newsletter which we distribute throughout the village every month – with a mix of chapel news and village events, especially helpful for those not on Facebook.

If you would like to support our work, there is now an easy way to do that. Easyfundraising work with big brands who will give a small donation every time you shop. Why not follow the link below or use the QR code – we’d be very grateful for your help.
